In 1985, at the age of 17, I successfully passed the initial examination, granting me permission to operate exclusively on frequencies above the HF band. Two years later, in 1987, at the age of 19, I achieved the highest level of Italian amateur radio licensing with proficiency in CW for regular operations. In 1988, I received the callsign IK4LZH.
